Yeye Funmi Layinka Foundation in conjuction with Rotary Club of Ibadan Jericho Metro club carriedout medical mission in Ibadan, donates drugs and free eye glasses to residents




*Health they say is wealth'.     As part of our activities to be sure all and sundry are in good health in order to enjoy a wealthy life, we carried out a day medical outreach in conjunction with the Rotary club of Ibadan -JERICHO Metro, under the watch of President Bisi Yomi Layinka.      The medical outreach which started around 10:00 am at the Kakanfo Inn and Conference Centre, Ibadan, Oyo state was attended by the Assistant Governor of  Rotary Club District 9125,Rotarian Dayo Odetola, The Permanent Secretary of the Oyo State Ministry of Health, Press members and host of Dignitaries across the State.  In his own address, the AG of The Rotary Club welcomed every participants to the program and discussed with them the importance of the Rotary Club, while speaking with  the participants, the Founder of YFL FOUNDATION, Yeye Funmi Layinka expressed how happy she is to see people participating in the program. She also told her what the foundation is all about and what we have been doing so far.  While addressing the Audience, the Rotary Club of Ibadan Jericho Metro President Rtr Bisi Yomi Layinka discussed more on the importance of knowing our health status as our health is very important.  The Medical Teams advised participants to use their drugs as prescribed.   Series of tests such as Malaria test, blood sugar level test, blood pressure were carried out.  Drugs were given to all participants and free reading glasses were given to those who were in need after eye tests has been carried out.  However, those with critical health conditions were referred to government hospitals for further and comprehensive treatments.  Conclusively, prayers from the beneficiaries of the outreach were offered to the organizers; Rotary Club of Ibadan Jericho Metro and Yeye Funmi Layinka Foundation of the medical outreach been extended to there community.

YEYE FUNMI LAYINKA FOUNDATION SETS TO EMPOWER YOUTHS IN ILE IFE

The Yeye Funmi Layinka Foundation is set to make another great move by empowering Youths in Ife, this was in a statement released by the Director General of the Foundation, Prince Adedoyin Ologbenla. He said The Founder of the Foundation Yeye Funmi Layinka is determined To eradicate Poverty among our Youths as she is ready to equip them and unleash their potentials. Recently the foundation carried out a project by feeding over 200 special needs students in Ife last month. She Said Empowerment programs are here not to give you a fish but to teach you how to fish. These programs are designed to increase the degree of autonomy and self-determination of the people by equipping them with the knowledge and or financial requirements to excel in a specific career. The program is slated to hold at the Afewonro park in Ile ife In the month of June.

FUNMI LAYINKA DONATES TO HER ALMA MATA

 The Founder of Yeye Funmi Layinka Foundation, Chief Mrs Funmi Layinka donated writing materials to students of Ethiopia central elementary school, Iyekere Ile ife.  The joy in the heart of the students of Ethiopia elementary school cannot be measured last week Monday as Yeye Funmi Layinka Foundation Team members led by the Director General, Prince Adedoyin Ologbenla stormed the school to welcome the students into new Term for the 2019/2020 academic session and donated over 500 writing materials to the students as a support to their education.   While addressing the Students, the Director of Projects, Adamolekun Lawrence urged the students to face their studies as  Education is the only pathway to success.  In his own address, the Director General Prince Adedoyin Ologbenla  while relaying the  Founder's message intensify the need for students to  be attentive to the Teachers and most especially their parents when orders are being give...
