YEYE FUNMI LAYINKA FOUNDATION TRAINED, EMPOWERED YOUTHS IN ILE IFE COMMUNITY




.. It was another success in the ancient Town of Ile Ife as Yeye Funmi Layinka Foundation in conjuction with Ọba (Dr) Festus Adekunle Adeyemi The Alakola of Akola Ijesha stormed Ile Ife to engage the communals in skills acquisition program.

The program which comprises of Training on Tie and dye, newspaper rag and ceiling started around 10:00 am in the Ile Ńlá hall of the  palace of His Imperial Majesty Ọba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi The Ooni of Ife.

 In his own word Ọba Festus Adeyemi made the participants realize the essence of having a skilled experience asides education stressing the fact that it is the only way out of poverty.

While addressing the audience the founder of The YFL foundation Yeye Funmi Layinka aid the essence of the project is to help the in alleviating poverty in the society, making it known that if this is learnt and understood, it will serve as a means of income.

The program was attended by numerous dignitaries and was also supported by ACCESS BANK PLC.

Five of the participants were selected for empowerment so as to set up the business.

Certificate were given to deserved participant and were assured of support if need be.

In his own word, the Director General of the Foundation, Prince Adedoyin Ologbenla appreciate everyone who attended the program and made it clear that the founder is willing to do more in giving back to the community and Humanity at large.

YEYE FUNMI LAYINKA FOUNDATION SETS TO EMPOWER YOUTHS IN ILE IFE

The Yeye Funmi Layinka Foundation is set to make another great move by empowering Youths in Ife, this was in a statement released by the Director General of the Foundation, Prince Adedoyin Ologbenla. He said The Founder of the Foundation Yeye Funmi Layinka is determined To eradicate Poverty among our Youths as she is ready to equip them and unleash their potentials. Recently the foundation carried out a project by feeding over 200 special needs students in Ife last month. She Said Empowerment programs are here not to give you a fish but to teach you how to fish. These programs are designed to increase the degree of autonomy and self-determination of the people by equipping them with the knowledge and or financial requirements to excel in a specific career. The program is slated to hold at the Afewonro park in Ile ife In the month of June.

FUNMI LAYINKA DONATES TO HER ALMA MATA

 The Founder of Yeye Funmi Layinka Foundation, Chief Mrs Funmi Layinka donated writing materials to students of Ethiopia central elementary school, Iyekere Ile ife.  The joy in the heart of the students of Ethiopia elementary school cannot be measured last week Monday as Yeye Funmi Layinka Foundation Team members led by the Director General, Prince Adedoyin Ologbenla stormed the school to welcome the students into new Term for the 2019/2020 academic session and donated over 500 writing materials to the students as a support to their education.   While addressing the Students, the Director of Projects, Adamolekun Lawrence urged the students to face their studies as  Education is the only pathway to success.  In his own address, the Director General Prince Adedoyin Ologbenla  while relaying the  Founder's message intensify the need for students to  be attentive to the Teachers and most especially their parents when orders are being give...
