YEYE FUNMI LAYINKA FOUNDATION TRAINED, EMPOWERED YOUTHS IN ILE IFE COMMUNITY

It was another success in the ancient Town of Ile Ife as Yeye Funmi Layinka Foundation in conjuction with Ọba (Dr) Festus Adekunle Adeyemi The Alakola of Akola Ijesha stormed Ile Ife to engage the communals in skills acquisition program. The program which comprises of Training on Tie and dye, newspaper rag and ceiling started around 10:00 am in the Ile Ńlá hall of the palace of His Imperial Majesty Ọba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi The Ooni of Ife. In his own word Ọba Festus Adeyemi made the participants realize the essence of having a skilled experience asides education stressing the fact that it is the only way out of poverty. While addressing the audience the founder of The YFL foundation Yeye Funmi Layinka aid the essence of the project is to help the in alleviating poverty in the society, making it known that if this is learnt and understood, it will serve as a means of income.
